Villa Description

Set in the hillside 250 feet above sea level overlooking Macaroni Beach, Hibiscus offers '270 degree' views of white sand, turquoise sea and distant Caribbean islands. A northern breeze cools the various sun decks. Finished and decorated to a high standard, Hibiscus is deliberately 'democratic' and each of the five bedrooms offers dual-aspect views, generous proportions and shady privacy, whilst the gracious living room, twin gazebo and eternity pool can accommodate the largest parties. INSIDE/LAYOUT

Living areas feature a spacious sitting room, two large outdoor dinning areas, reception terraces and a fully equipped entertainment and media room.

BEDROOMS

Five equally spacious bedrooms featuring private terraces; four of the rooms have queen beds and one room has twin beds. Each bedroom features ceiling fans, en-suite bathroom and dressing rooms. One bathroom has a bathtub; the other bathrooms have large walk-in showers.

BATHROOMS

Each en-suite bathroom follows the classic, prestigious style of the house. Each as luxurious and as practical as the other.

ENTERTAINMENT            

Freshwater infinity swimming pool. iPod music station, Flat screen TV that guests can use to play their own DVDs, Pool floats (one seated, two flat).

The majority of our provisions are ordered on the mainland of Saint Vincent although there is an island grocery store and fish market. Food and beverages can be pre-ordered prior to your arrival and menus, special dietary requirements and requests can be discussed before your vacation with the Villa rentals office. Order lists for food and beverages can be sent with your booking confirmation, or alternatively you can wait until your arrival and discuss your preferences with the chef or the butler once on island. All shopping and food and beverage orders will be collected by your villa staff on your behalf and every effort will be made to meet your requests.

OUTSIDE            

There are two bodies of water surrounding Mustique, the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. The main beach is Macaroni Bay – this is the beach that you can see from Jasmine Cottage and has lovely waves and a grass area to picnic in. The other is Lagoon Beach which is on the quieter Caribbean Sea. It is perfect for very small children and again has the perfect picnic area just in front of the lagoon. There is a path from this beach to secluded Geliceaux Bay which you can only reach by foot following the rocky path to the left. There are many other beaches on the island, not all of them suitable for swimming - please look at the map.

Picnics are possible on any of the beaches. The best is Lagoon Beach where there is a barbeque which you can use. Dwayne will be happy to book this and arrange for the staff to get things ready on the beach.

GETTING THERE:

Map: Mustique is the third largest island in the Grenadines, 20 km South of St Vincent. 
Air: Private Jet to Mustique island just 45 minutes flight from Barbados or Grenada International Airport. Fly to Barbados and Bequia Airport has daily flights from here. Alternative with chartered plane would be Martinique, St Lucia, or Grenada.

    Deposits

    Reservations must be accompanied at the time of booking by a 20% deposit. However, a reservation cannot be confirmed until 8 months or 240 days prior to the date of arrival, at which time the 20% deposit becomes non-refundable. A further payment of 40% is required and becomes non-refundable 6 months or 180 days prior to the date of arrival. The remaining 40% of the rental is due 3 months or 90 days prior to the date of arrival and is immediately non-refundable. Deposits on a villa rental will not be refunded if a visit is delayed or cancelled because of transportation difficulties. Guests are therefore urged to purchase travel insurance.

    The minimum period for a reservation is seven nights. Over certain holiday periods, a further minimum stay may apply.

    10% tax and 9% admin fee will be added to bills.
