Villa Description

This Hasselquist designed open floor plan villa is located high above Pasture Bay on Mustique's sunrise coast. The villa`s hilltop location ensures that guests enjoy spectacular views of the island`s southeast coast. At the Villa`s heart is a Koi pond surrounded by indoor and outdoor living and dining gazebos.

INSIDE/LAYOUT

Emerald Hill is a 4 bedroom open plan house set on 8 acres of land, situated in the splendid hills overlooking Pasture Bay and Macaroni Bay. The villa was designed and built by Arne Hasselqvist over 25 years ago and was recently described by one of our guests as “the best beach house in the hills you’ll find in the whole of Mustique”. This open plan villa has the feeling of a small tropical village.

BEDROOMS

Four spacious king bedrooms (two can be made up as twins) all with en-suite dressing and bathrooms and private decks; two bedrooms have indoor and outdoor showers; two bedrooms have outdoor showers only.

BATHROOMS

Each en-suite bathroom follows the classic, prestigious style of the house. Each as luxurious and as practical as the other.

ENTERTAINMENT            

Freshwater infinity swimming pool. iPod music station, Flat screen TV that guests can use to play their own DVDs, Pool floats (one seated, two flat).

The majority of our provisions are ordered on the mainland of Saint Vincent although there is an island grocery store and fish market. Food and beverages can be pre-ordered prior to your arrival and menus, special dietary requirements and requests can be discussed before your vacation with the Villa rentals office. Order lists for food and beverages can be sent with your booking confirmation or alternatively, you can wait until your arrival and discuss your preferences with the chef or the butler once on island. All shopping and food and beverage orders will be collected by your villa staff on your behalf and every effort will be made to meet your requests.

OUTSIDE            

Emerald Hill features a large 25 metre (80 ft) swimming pool flanked by sundecks. Its location ensures the pool exposure to the sun all day.

A large gazebo is situated overlooking the pool with spectacular views of Pasture Bay and beyond. It is the usual venue for lunch and another location for cocktails and/or dinner.

The hilltop location ensures a comfortable, cooling Caribbean breeze. Emerald Hill is intimate, yet spacious, ever so comfortable, and retains the traditional charms of a Mustique holiday home.

GETTING THERE:

Map: Mustique is the third largest island in the Grenadines, 20 km South of St Vincent. 
Air: Private Jet to Mustique island just 45 minutes flight from Barbados or Grenada International Airport. Fly to Barbados and Bequia Airport has daily flights from here. Alternative with chartered plane would be Martinique, St Lucia, or Grenada.

    Deposits

    Reservations must be accompanied at the time of booking by a 20% deposit. However, a reservation cannot be confirmed until 8 months or 240 days prior to the date of arrival, at which time the 20% deposit becomes non-refundable. A further payment of 40% is required and becomes non-refundable 6 months or 180 days prior to the date of arrival. The remaining 40% of the rental is due 3 months or 90 days prior to the date of arrival and is immediately non-refundable. Deposits on a villa rental will not be refunded if a visit is delayed or cancelled because of transportation difficulties. Guests are therefore urged to purchase travel insurance.

    The minimum period for a reservation is seven nights. Over certain holiday periods, a further minimum stay may apply.

    10% tax and 9% admin fee will be added to bills.
