Villa Description

This is a fantastic, newly built Bequia beach-side property. It is a single split level property with five bedrooms and five en suite bathrooms. Three bedrooms are on the upper level and two on the lower. Three of the bedrooms are self-contained as they also have their own kitchen and dining area making this flexible property ideally suited to mixed groups. There is access from the house directly to the beach and two restaurants within walking distance. The villas is perched 20 ft above sea level on the beachfront coconut Plantation of Crescent Bay. Set on a hillside of virgin land the villas grounds are in total one acre of flat and gently sloping land.


The house was built to accommodate families who can have their own private space whilst being on holiday together. So the house is built  over two levels with two master bedrooms on the main reception floor and three self contained apartments on a lower floor.

The main kitchen is open at one end to the main living and dining room. The kitchen is equipped with a large US style fridge/freezer with chilled water and ice dispensers, a range oven with extractor hood, washing machine, microwave and double sink unit.

The property is finished in white render under a red tiled roof with mahogany windows, doors and balustrades. All kitchens, bathrooms, and wardrobes are hand finished in either solid mahogany or gloss white wood. 


The two master bedrooms have king size beds

All the bedrooms have air conditioning and fans, a built in wardrobe, arm chairs and double/king size bed.

The 3 studio apartments each have a kitchen area equipped with oven, electric halogen hob, microwave, sink, range of cupboards with cutlery, crockery and utensils.


Each bedroom has an en-suite shower room.


The sitting room has a marble top dining table which seats six, cream leather sofas, a TV / DVD player and WiFi broadband.

Each bedroom also has a TV, CD player with MP3 connection, and FM radio.

A wedding service can be held at the villa or on the beach.


Ipanema is accessed by a private driveway, there is easy parking for 3 vehicles and there is a level turning area. The property has beautiful tropical garden area sloping down towards the beachfront coconut plantation. The Pool is centrally located and the property faces South. All the accommodations have ocean views, with views to Mustique from the verandas.


Aside from all the sporting and swimming activities at the villa and the beach, if you like hiking there are trails around the island which you can take bonafide forests, waterfalls and nature at its best. Snorkelling and Scuba diving are excellent here and there are several dive sites close to the villa and in all around 12 dive sites around Bequia, 64 in the whole Grenadines chain. Children will enjoy walking to the Turtle sanctuary from this villa (which is just 5 minutes down the quite beach road) kayaking, learning to sail, fishing, seeking out iguanas, playing football, tennis, cricket and volley ball on the beach, drinking from fresh coconuts and having local fish and chips at the beach.



Staff can serve breakfast, lunch and dinner at an additional cost. There is a local style beach bar 3 minutes walk from the house and an international gourmet restaurant a 20 minute walk from the house. Restaurants on the island are good and varied (Italian, Swedish, French, Caribbean, American)


Map: Bequia is the second largest island in the Grenadines, 10 km South of St Vincent and 8 km north of Mustique. Drive from Bequia airport takes 15 minutes up through Port Elizabeth to Hope Estate. Air:Private Jet to Canouan island just 5 minutes flight from Bequia’s airport. Fly to Barbados and Bequia airport has daily flights from here. Alternative with chartered plane would be Martinique, St Lucia, or Grenada. It is also possible to fly Barbados - St Vincent and then take the ferry. Grenadine Escape send a car to meet you at the airport and the house manager welcomes you on arrival. A car and local driving license will be waiting for you should you request them.

  • The house keeper cleans the house and will be on-site 6 days per week. She will change linen, clean the kitchen, sweep and tidy up throughout the day.


The house keeper will prepare you breakfast and lunch if you desire, this service (excluding food) is included in the rental.  If you require a full time professional chef we can make arrangements for you.<


Reservations must be accompanied at the time of booking by a 25% deposit. However, a reservation cannot be confirmed until 8 months or 240 days prior to the date of arrival, at which time the 25% deposit becomes non-refundable. The remaining 75% is required 60 days prior to the date of arrival and is immediately non-refundable. Deposits on a villa rental will not be refunded if a visit is delayed or cancelled because of transportation difficulties. Guests are therefore urged to purchase travel insurance. The minimum period for a reservation is five nights. Over certain holiday periods, a further minimum stay may apply.
