Catch the spirit of Bali as you enter the Temple Gate of this
hillside villa. An authentic Balinese pavilion features an early-bird view of
Macaroni Beach to the east and L’Ansecoy Bay to the north. The dining pavilion
is an architectural jewel, designed by Amir Rabik, which appears to float on a
lotus pond. Two terrace bedrooms and a 50-foot lap pool for serious swimming
provide comfort and charm for up to four guests.
The main living room is filled with
comfy sofas and Balinese antiques and opens up to teak decking which
overlook the grounds. The floor to ceiling wooden doors open up on all sides to
make the most of the stunning views and warm climate.

size beds and en-suite bathrooms. A sweeping sun deck and 50ft
long pool, a two story Balinese pavilion which houses the main sitting room and
one of the guest bedrooms on the first floor, a dining area surrounded by water
with an exquisitely hand painted, tiered ceiling and newly installed media
room, complete the house. The property is carefully laid out with ample
room for relaxing and entertaining and served by three friendly, trusted and
beautifully appointed bedrooms have king-size beds with mosquito netting,
air-conditioning and are tastefully and neutrally decorated, with a hint of
oriental style. Of particular note are the glorious and uninterrupted views
across to the neighbouring islands from the third bedroom, which is on the
first floor of the Balinese pavilion.
Each bathroom is totally
original, and screams sophistication. As well as being fashionable, the
bathrooms are all equally practical.

comfy sofas, a desk and a downstairs bathroom - Bali Hai also has Wi-Fi
throughout with wired internet links in the media room and second bedroom.
You can smell the blossom
from the overhanging frangipani tree as you swim in the sparkling 50ft pool.
The extensive decking area is perfect for sunbathing or snoozing under the
large parasols. There is a shower and lilos and a separate cloak room. The
sheltered gazebo is ideal for relaxing, reading or enjoying evening cocktails.
The main eating area is
surrounded by a pond filled with fish and is complimented by an authentic
Balinese fountain. The hand painted ceiling tells an old Balinese folk story
and is a beautiful setting in which to enjoy Karen's wonderful home cooking.
Breakfast, dinner and lunch can also be served at the poolside, on the decking
or on the veranda.
